                       b)     Pascal’s Law at Any Point


                       Pascal's law stated that pressure applied to an enclosed fluid will be transmitted without a

                       change in magnitude to every point of the fluid and to the walls of the container.
                       The pressure at any point in the fluid is equal in all directions.




                       3.1.2  Hydraulic Jack



                              A Hydraulic Jack is used to lift a heavy load with the help of a light force (refer
                       Figure 3.3). Below is a diagram of a hydraulic jack as Figure 3.2. A force, F is applied to the

                       piston of the small cylinder and forces oil or water out into the large cylinder thus, raising

                       the piston supporting the load, W.
