ABSTRACT

Organizational Behavior (OB) is a field of studies that seeks explanations for human behavior in

organizations. It investigates the impact of individuals, groups and organizations have on behavior

within the organizations. The study of OB can help the students to have a better understanding on

how employees behave and perform in the workplace. It also can facilitate students with ideas on
how to motivate employees, increase their performance, and establish a strong relationship within

the members in the organization. This eBook is designed to help students to have better insight

into how humans interact and react, creating insight into management while preparing them with

necessary knowledge in future career. This eBook contains seven chapters that cover the course
learning outcome including interpreting the principles, approaches and theories applicable in

organizational behavior and analyzing factors affecting organizational behavior at all levels of

organizational system. As every chapter includes explanation of the course contents, it is also

featured with info graphics to make it more interesting. Every chapter also contains questions for
discussion and workbook activity as student’s end of chapter revision. It is our objective that this

eBook not only will become student’s guideline in studying OB but enhance their knowledge and

understanding OB concept as well as to apply it in future.
