Preface

We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to the
people who have been instrumental in the successful completion of this book.

Finally Soil Engineering Practical Workbook was successfully published after
working hard preparing this book since January 2021. This book is written and
published as a guide or reference to all agricultural engineering students in

polytechnic about the basic of land survey and soil laboratory test. This book will
expose to the technique of levelling and theodolite surveys. This practical
workbook including laboratory test for water content determination and gradation

test to determine of soil particle size distribution. We would like to express
appreciation to all staffs of mechanical engineering department for their
cooperation in completing this book. Hopefully this book can preferably utilized by
