Communication Connection Damage

                   • The conductor in the communication cable is disconnected.

                   • The connection pin on the terminal is bent or broken.

                   • The pin connection is loose.

                   • There is interference in the communication cable connection caused

by motors, loops, high voltage, untidy soldering and so on.

                   • There is a short circuit among the conductors in the communication

                        cable.

            Power Supply Disruption

                   • A power supply interruption occurs in an automation control system when

the supply voltage drops below 85% of the rated value. This situation will

cause the PLC to stop immediately.

            PLC INTERNAL DAMAGE

                   • The relay or transistor on the Output Unit / Module inside the PLC

                        burns out.

                   • The optocoupler on the Input Unit / module does not work.

                   • Burnt fuse.

                   • Low storage battery.

                   • Micro electronic components (Microprocessor, RAM, ROM burn).

            Considerations On Installation And Wiring

                   • Avoid installing PLCs in places that have the characteristics as below.

                   • Direct exposure to sunlight.

                   • Ambient temperatures exceed the range of 0 ° C to 55 ° C.

                                                                                                             28
