2.1.2 TYPE OF VECTORS

Table below showed the types of vector in mechanic. They are free vector, sliding vector and fixed
               vector (or bound vector)

represented by vectors which may move or
                  Sliding Vector
slid along their line of action

                  Bound Vector
                                  - cannot be moved without modifying the
                        or
                                  condition of the problem
                  Fixed Vector

               2.2 VECTOR OPERATIONS

Both a magnitude and a direction must be specified for a vector quantity, in contrast to a scalar
quantity which can be quantified with just a number. Any number of vector quantities of the same

type (i.e., same units) can be combined by basic vector operations. Vector can be added, subtracted
               and also resolution.
