The law of sines is used to find angles of a general triangle. If two sides and the enclosed angle

               are known, it can be used in conjunction with the law of cosines to find the third side and the other
               two angles.

               2.3    RECTANGULAR COMPONENT


               The rectangular components of a vector F refer to vectors along the x and y axes that add up to
               F.

               The rectangular components of a vector are those two vectors in red and blue. They're the vectors

               in the x and y directions that, when added, make the vector F can be find. Because they're just in

               the x and y directions, their magnitudes are easy to find. Just look at their coordinates. The blue
               one is (0,3) and had magnitude 3. The red one is (4,0) with magnitude 4.
