6.2.2  Potential  Energy

               It is the energy that a body possesses because of its position or condition.

                                               potential energy (E ) = mgh
                                                                   p

               Where :        m   =  body mass  (kg).

                                                 -2
               g   =  gravitational acceleration(ms ).
               h   =   body high/position (m).

               6.2.3  Kinetic Energy
               It is the energy caused by the movement of a body. It is equivalent to the work done by the body.

               Consider the below figure:

               Suppose a force F N acts on a body of mass m kg and converts the velocity of the body from 0

                                                       -2
                  -1
               ms to v ms with the acceleration a ms with the distance traveled s m.
