                  2.0      LAW OF CONTRACT


                  2.1      ESSENTIAL OF VALID AND ENFORCEABLE CONTRACT

                  2.1.1  AGREEMENT (OFFER / ACCEPTANCE)

                           •  Based on Contract law 1950:


                           •  Clause 2e - every promise and every set of promises, forming

                             the consideration for each other, is an agreement.

                           •  Clause 2g - an agreement not enforceable by law is said to be

                             void.

                           •  Clause 2h - an agreement enforceable by law is a contract

                                  (i) Agreement

                                      ▪  Agreement has been reaching when there has been

                                         definite  offer/proposal  and  definite  acceptance

                                         between the parties.


                                      ▪   Clause 2c the person making the proposal is called
                                         the  “promisor”  and  the  person  accepting  the


                                         proposal is called the “promisee”.

                                      ▪  Clause 4 – Communication of proposal/acceptance :

                                         oral @ letter/post @ telex.
