1. Crop water requirement varies from place to place, from crop to crop and
depends on agro-ecological variation and crop characters. Discuss the
features which mainly influence the crop water requirement.

2. Discuss the importance of Effective Rainfall in agriculture sector.

3. Compare between Crop Water Requirement (CWR) and Irrigation Water
Requirement (IWR)

4. Explain the importance of field water balance in field irrigation planning.

5. i. If Net Irrigation Reguirement needs is 5.5 cm and losses allowed is 20%.
Calculate the Field Irrigation Requirement.

ii. Based on answer above (i) , Calculate the Gross Irrigation Requirement
if 20 % of water lossed in delivery pipe.
