a) Class 1 Occupation: This class includes persons who engage in
professional, administrative, management, clerical, and non-guide
occupations generally.
b) Class 2 Occupation: This class includes persons engaged in work of a
supervising guide labour, that is, persons who travel frequently in the
course of their work shall be classified in this Class.
c) Class 3 Occupation: This class includes persons engaged in guide work
not of a particularly hazardous nature but involving the use of all types of
mechanically driven apparatus, tools or devices.
d) Class 4 Occupation: This class includes persons engaged in extra-
hazardous occupations such as:
Jockey & race drivers
Military, Armed Forces & Law Enforcement Officers (except those
performing administrative duties only, which should be rated as
Class 3)
Professional sports team
Ship crew, Shipbuilding, and Ship repair workers
Seamen, Divers, Oil rig workers
Mining workers working underground or using explosives or
chemicals
Workers engaged in construction of dams, bridges, tunnels or
underground work
Window cleaners or construction workers at heights exceeding 30 ft.
above ground
Workers handling boilers or pressure vessels
Circus performers
Stuntmen
