Stage 7: In use: covers the building in use, performance

monitoring, updating of project information, and long-term

project feedback activities until the end of the building’s
life or the commissioning of a new Stage 0

On most projects, the design team and construction team will
have no duties to undertake in Stage 7. However, both teams

will be interested in receiving ongoing feedback, to help them
understand how they might improve the performance of future

                            buildings.

o Three of the eight ‘task bars' (procurement, program and

planning) are adjusted at each step, based on the project. The
remaining task bars include important support duties,

sustainability checkpoints, project team information exchanges,
                            and new government information portals.

o A project's RIBA Plan of Work 2020 is not a contractual necessity.

Users can, however, use the plan's numerous digital tools to

create their own project plan of work.
