TYPE OF TENDER INVITATION PROCEDURES

OPEN TENDER
• All tenderers/contractors must be invited.

• Tenderers/contractors must be notified via a
notice of tenders published in a local

publication.

• At least one major daily Malay local
newspaper has published the
advertisement. The tender period must be at

least 21 days long.

• At least two local newspapers are required
for international tenders (one Malay and one
English). The tender period must be at least

56 days long.

• Any qualified tenderer is eligible to submit
tenders.

SELECTIVE
• Tenderers must be selected by Lembaga
TENDER
Perolehan Agensi (LPA) or the Ministry of
Finance.

• The tender secretariat or processing officer

will send an invitation letter to the shortlisted
tenderers/contractors after the selection

results have been received from the LPA or
Ministry of Finance.
