8.3.4  Public Relations

                  Is  there  a  concerted  attempt  to  foster  positive

                  relationships  between  the  organisation  and  its

                  numerous stakeholders?
                  Creating a positive business image and handling, as

                  well as preventing unfavourable rumours, stories, and

                  incidents.

                  It's  used  to  promote  brands,  goods,  people,  places,
                  activities, businesses, and even countries.

                  Nations have utilised public relations to attract more

                  tourism, foreign investment, and international support, for example.

                  FUNCTIONS

                  To draw attention to a person, product, or service, create and place material in the
                  news media

                      a)  . Promotion of specific products.

                      b)  Maintaining  and  building  relationships  with  politicians  and  government

                         officials in order to influence legislation and regulation.
                      c)  Keeping  in  touch  with  shareholders  and  other  members  of  the  financial

                         community.

                      d)  Obtaining  financial  or  volunteer  assistance  through  public  relations  with

                         funders or members of the NGO.
