4.2.5 Negotiation Tender
• A negotiating tender is an invitation to bid to a contractor whom
the client has chosen based on skill, experience, and a strong
reputation.
• The client will select a contractor based on this negotiation,
and the contractor will receive a tender form.
• Negotiation tender have certain advantages. If a contractor, for
example, has previously executed a similar project flawlessly,
time and effort can be saved by negotiating new transactions
directly with the contractor on the same grounds.
• The contractor who wishes to enter this tender must have
substantial experience, skills in project related areas, work
expertise, a large financial capability, and be adept in the
application of certain construction techniques, among other
requirements.
